Harrow
The Clearbrook Harrow is designed to give the operator a wide range of uses. The operator has the ability to use the Harrow with the spikes protruding a half inch for a shallow cutting depth, or, by removing 4 bolts and flipping the framed section of the Harrow 180 degrees, then replacing the 4 bolts on frame to use the Harrow with 1 and a quarter inch spikes for a deeper scratch.
The type of surface to be worked on determines which side of the Harrow the operator will want to use. With the short side of the spike facing down the operator has a device perfect for fine finishing of horse arenas, tracks & trails, driveways or anywhere a light, leveling scratch is needed. Flip the Harrow so the longer spikes are facing down and you have an implement perfect for scratching pastures, breaking up animal feces, and breaking up the seal on top soil, allowing for better sunlight, water and nutrient penetration. Used in conjunction with the Clearbrook Main Frame, the operator is able to raise the Harrow up for transport over asphalt or concrete surfaces with zero damage to the surface, without the operator ever leaving the seat of the pulling device to engage or disengage the operating function of the Harrow.
How It Works
All implements are designed to mount on our proprietary Clearbrook Main Frame. The commercial heavy duty linear actuator lifts, drops and positions the implements at the touch of a control button. The Clearbrook Main Frame attaches to your ATV or garden tractor via a standard drop pin hitch. The Main Frame has an onboard 12V battery with built-in charger unit to power the linear actuator. The control units plug in and have sufficient lead to allow you to control your implements from the driver's seat of your ATV or garden tractor. Four spring-loaded latch pins fix the implement to the Main Frame; simply roll the Main Frame over the implement, lower it onto the mounting pins, set the latch pins, lift the unit and you are ready to go to work. Control the ride height of the unit from the drivers seat as you go.
